Ample free parking at front of hotel. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with lovely sized shower and large bed. Nice relaxed feel and staff were very friendly and courteous and spoke English. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Only a short walk into main town centre useful information booklet in rooms and area map explained on arrival by receptionist. Air Conditioning was quiet and worked well. Nice to have outside seating area with patio doors and small garden to sit out in if desired. Hotel bar till 11pm and 24/7 reception. Check out 11:30am

Secure parking is the best thing to have these days if overnighting in a French town. e had our car broken into in Nantes a few years ago and learned from that experience that car break-ins are all to common.

Vannes is not the easiest place to park a car, so the large car park that La Marabauière has is a real bonus. Staff were all very friendly and helpful (Valerie, Julie & Helen). The breakfast comprised a wide range of both continental & cooked items - very satisfying. We had booked a Comfort Double room, which turned out to be a bit on the small side in terms of storage space for the clothes that we had brought for our 5-night stay. We managed to compromise, but very helpul staff did show us the size of a family room which we noted for future reference,

Easy check in, staff friendly and courteous and very helpful in guiding us around where and what to visit ( Weekend not long enough with the history of this place) and eat in Vannes. The rooms are bright and airy, and the bed is really comfortable. Great position, just outside the town centre. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Tres Bon

We had a very relaxing stay at La Marebaudière. Check in was very easy. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was bright and clean, with everything you would expect. The shower was excellent, the bed was enormous- and very comfy, and the WiFi was great. The car park was spacious and we had no problem parking. The hotel is in the centre of Vannes, within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. We have stayed here before and would certainly do so again. Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome.

We stayed at La Marebaudiere in August 2023 for a couple of nights whilst on a roadtrip down to Bordeaux. The hotel has it's own car park and is conveniently situated within easy walking distance of the main area of Vannes, including all the main tourist sites, restaurants and shops (between 5 and 15 mins to get to most places). The room was clean and tastefully decorated with good facilities, but only had a small velux window. This didn't bother us too much as we were out most of the time. The aircon was a little noisy and needs attention. Breakfast was a selection of hot and cold buffet food and was perfectly adequate for what we needed and there are so many restaurants just a short walk away. Ideal as a stopover if you're visiting Vannes for a couple of days and don't want to be right in the centre of town. Vannes itself is stunning and there is so much to see - would highly recommend!

Chic decor in old building. Spacious comfortable well-appointed bedroom on ground floor, with French window access to garden with table and chairs. Excellent breakfast. Five minute walk to beautiful park which takes you down to road - left for charming port, straight on for mediaeval centre.

Our room was a great size and comfortably furnished with a very decent sized bed - also air conditioning which was much appreciated. The best thing was location - to be able to park outside the hotel and then be able to walk into the centre of the old city in just ten minutes was excellent.
