Quality Hotel La Marebaudière Vannes Centre

We stayed at La Marebaudiere in August 2023 for a couple of nights whilst on a roadtrip down to Bordeaux. The hotel has it's own car park and is conveniently situated within easy walking distance of the main area of Vannes, including all the main tourist sites, restaurants and shops (between 5 and 15 mins to get to most places). The room was clean and tastefully decorated with good facilities, but only had a small velux window. This didn't bother us too much as we were out most of the time. The aircon was a little noisy and needs attention. Breakfast was a selection of hot and cold buffet food and was perfectly adequate for what we needed and there are so many restaurants just a short walk away. Ideal as a stopover if you're visiting Vannes for a couple of days and don't want to be right in the centre of town. Vannes itself is stunning and there is so much to see - would highly recommend!

Room was clean and tidy. All staff friendly and helpful. Near to Vannes old town as planned for ease of walking. Good choice for breakfast, well laid out and lovely lady working very hard during breakfast service. All in all, a good, clean, central and friendly hotel, would definitely stay again.

Good location, very clean, extremely friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast was very good. We could borrow 2 bikes for half a day with no charge, which was very helpful for visiting the town. The private sauna included in the room price was also very comfortable and relaxing. The beds were very comfortable! It was very quiet during the night even with open window.

The hotel is well situated for touring Vannes. Ample parking at the hotel and staff were helpful. We liked the map we were given listing restaurants and points of interest in the town. The room although smallish was comfortable and the shower good. Breakfast was good but disappointed that there was no fruit. We had to cancel one night at the last minute due to a family emergency and were not charged - a big plus for the hotel! Would definitely return next time in Vannes.

Parking very good. Easy walk into old town. Room fairly small but efficiently designed. Better value for money than some other hotels we stayed at on our tour - by car..
